Today, New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms Political Action Committee (NYCFPAC) is announcing its endorsement of Jeff Gallahan in tomorrow’s Republican primary in Assembly District 131. Gallahan (R-Manchester) seeks to replace Republican Asm. Brian Kolb, who opted not to seek re-election. Gallahan currently serves as Manchester Town Supervisor. His resumé also includes industrial sales; co-ownership of a small business with his wife, Lynn; volunteerism and leadership at local nonprofits; and a life membership in the National Rifle Association.  Located in the Finger Lakes region, Assembly District 131 includes all of Ontario County and a part of Seneca County.

Jason J. McGuire, Executive Director of NYCFPAC, made the following comments:

“NYCFPAC is happy to endorse Jeff Gallahan in the upcoming June 23 Republican primary in New York’s 131st Assembly District. Gallahan has a track record of leadership in his community and is a staunch advocate of pro-life, pro-family principles. His performance on NYCFPAC’s candidate questionnaire was nothing short of outstanding, and he has expressed a desire to work on abortion issues and adoption issues. The New York State Legislature would benefit from Gallahan’s presence, as would the voters of Assembly District 131.”

The primary election is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23.
